Who We Are

Y2K Construction is a reliable, professional and independent building company based in Ascot, Berkshire.

Managed by Directors Simon Warby and Darren Johnson who joined together over twenty years ago, bringing their own personal skills and talents with them, to create the well established and highly commended company Y2K Construction is today.

We offer a comprehensive range of services for domestic, commercial or educational customers, from a simple refurbishment, redesign or expansion to a fully bespoke, customer or professionaly designed building, covering all of your requirements from design and planning all the way through to completion.

We can also specialise in property maintenance and repairs, emergency call-outs and insurance services covering fire or flood restoration, storm and impact damage and are always happy to supply references.

The team we employ are loyal, reliable and trust worthy and have been with us for many years. We continue to support them whilst they are with us and keep them up to date with any new and relevant current training. All our team specialise in their own particular field and we always place the right people with the right jobs.

Our History

1999
Simon Warby and Darren Johnson set up Y2K Construction, a family-run business looking after simple repairs to large multi-building estates.
2001
Y2K picked up their first major government contract, looking after Surrey Ambulance Service maintaining 15 ambulance stations in top working order including night and day emergency call out.
2008
Y2K pick up their largest contract to date, maintaining Ashford and St Peters Hospitals. Work comprises of office partitioning, rebuilding wards and updating them to meet modern safety standards. We also provide a 24hr call out service for emergency work.
